is there a procedure to start up a new timer board. The replacement is doing the same as the old one. And can the on/off switch have something to do with this proble? This Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name isXXXXX will be helping you with your appliance issue today.

This means you have water in the bottom base pan underneath the dishwasher, this keeps the Styrofoam float up and keys the drain pump running, the machine the will not reset until this water is completely gone and dry, sometimes the float can get stuck in the up position, the float is number 0524 on this diagram,

these are extremely difficult to get to know you need to pull the machine out completely you take the side panel off on the left side when looking from the front and there is a very small opening way you can get a small towel and then soaked this water up and if there is no one within the float is stuck in the up position you need to push it down, it's a real pain in the neck to be quite honest you can't get into the front, I have the same machine and it had to do this to mine, thanks and well wishes, Bryan
