Hello, I have a Gemini and I cannot turn on the right rear

Resolved Question:

Hello,
I have a Gemini and I cannot turn on the right rear (simmer) burner.
I push down the knob but the shaft will not rotate. Is it possible to lubricate the shaft ??

Thanks,
Tad Bridenthal XXX@XXXXXX.XXX

Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

Is this a gas or electric burner knob?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
It is gas, I should have mentioned.

ok then unfortunately that means that your gas valve has just siezed. There isn't anything you can do but to repalce the valve itself. If you give me the model number I can look the part up for you, if you want. It's located on a tag on the back of your control panel that you can flip up to see the model number.

Hi,
I would appreciate the part number.
The model is MGR6772BDS

Thanks,
Tad
