S.E.Thomas :

hello, welcome to just answer. my name is XXXXX XXXXX and i will be happy to assist you with your problem. Can yo please get me the complete model and serial number from inside the door opening or from the rear of the unit. This is most likely a bad roller or fan. it could even be something as simple as a dryer sheet in the fan.

JACUSTOMER-aqd0sbhb- :

The model # XXXXX XXXXX and serial # XXXXX

S.E.Thomas :

give me one min

S.E.Thomas :

what kind of noise are you getting?

JACUSTOMER-aqd0sbhb- :

it's hard to describe, it just sounds louder. There are no squeaks or anything

S.E.Thomas :

well one thing that will get louder on a gas dryer is the gas valve. There are two coils on it that open the valve. there coils will begin to click louder and also make a louder humn sound as the unit gets some age on it. these noises are normal.

JACUSTOMER-aqd0sbhb- :

great... I'm one of those paranoid people. The dryer is about 4 years old. So unless if I start hearing any clicking, clanking or squeaks I should be good?

S.E.Thomas :

the fan will cause vibration if something gets in it. the drum rollers will start to squeek or grind if they are going bad.

JACUSTOMER-aqd0sbhb- :

great- thanks so much- have a great day

S.E.Thomas :

you should be good to go if the noise you are hearing are normal noises just getting louder.

S.E.Thomas :

thank you and your welcome. please dont forget to accept.
