Don't believe I have any relays near the center. Have a large white box in lower left and a black box in the lower right. Think they are both relays. What does a diode look like? Is it a small black semi circle shaped component about 1/4 inch tall?
It is a Maytag Neptune Washer, Model #MAH4000AWW Serial #63711827YY
My neighbor is a Radio Tech so I'd bet he can install a new fuse holder. What is the fuse rating?
Don't suppose Maytag would supply the updated board?????
I'm also confident that my radio tech neighbor can repair the existing faulty motor board.
He can readily change any faulted component.
Suspect a motor and board are pretty pricey
Hope to hear from you when you get back.
Pulled out the motor circuit board and the fuse seems to be okay. It is not black or smoked and wire filament is intact. I put the ohm meter across it and there is continuity/no impedance
There is a sinle line diagram of the wiring and switches and relays and plug in points to the printed circuit boards. I did not see any single line of the printed circuit boards.
Trust I can start up again in the morning
Haven't got it working so appreciate your assistance. I'm on MST so does this mean 6PM my time???????
You'd asked about the SLD. I was previously and Electrical Engineer and have no problem doing some testing with 120V, ohm meter, and leather gloves for safety.
Unable to successfully resolve my Maytag washer problem.
Did get a price from local parts supply. Ouch- $300 for the motor board & $205 for the motor. Likley can do better on the internet. Like to be sure it's the motor board & motor due to cost, particularily if I don't need it
????Could it be a plugged entry to the pressure switch? Can one get to it without taking the tub somewhat a part? A pretty big job. Should be able to test for voltage on output of pressure switch.
????Could be the door latching motor? Washer switches off in approximately 45secs. Door lock indicator lite is not yet on. Repeated pushing of the START Button does only occassionally get the Door Locked indicator lite on.
Model # MAH4000AWW
Serial # XXXXX
Problem has been resolved and washer running normally. I purchased a conversion kit locally and the parts store matched the original internet parts price of $225. However, quite a ways from Appliancesone price of $187!
I also take offence to your comment "as I stated earlier I need your complete model number and serial number" There is no need for the antagonistic comment!. And if you'd checked my Jan 17, 6:11 reply, they both were provided.
