Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name isXXXXX will be helping you with your appliance issue today.

this it a real problem, the dryer doesn't get hot enough to totally kill them off, you can try the hottest setting but I can guarantee this will kill them. you can try a commercial dryer at the laundry mat, these get hotter usually, hope this helps. thanks Bryan

You said about the hottest setting that you can guarantee this will kill them, but I think you meant that you CAN'T guarantee this --r ight?
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
correct. I cant be 100% sure that it will kill them, some dryers are hotter than others, thats why I would try the laundromat dryer. they usually run hotter than home dryers.

I don't actually have bedbugs, as far as I know --- I am asking what to do after purchase of new clothes. They are too delicate for the hot temperatures you say are needed, so I guess the answer is that a dryer can't really be of use for this.

Do you have any alternate suggestions?

well , you definitely don't wont to get them, can these be washed in hot water?
