Customer Question

I have a GE Triton XL Dishwasher that is not cleaning well, and it stopped draining completely. Once before a technician came and cleaned the drain in the bottom of the dishwasher. He told me to clean it from time to time, but I don't know how to get to the drain to clean it. How do I do it?

Optional Information:
Make: GE
Model: Triton XL

Already Tried:
I removed the bottom sprayer to access the drain trap (soIcan clean it), but I can't get all the way to the trap because there's a hard plastic water line covering it.

Does this have the cover along the back of the Dishwasher inside at the bottom?

Customer replied 858 days and 7 hours ago.

This is a built in dishwasher. The unit is sealed inside, but the waterline comes into the unit in the center of the back. One line goes down to the bottom srayer (that's the one that is blocking access to the drain trap. The other line goes up to the 2 top sprayers. The drain trap is near the back, but slightly on the right as you look inside.

Ok the filter box does lift up out of the hole. You have to squeeze the top of it in.

Customer replied 858 days and 7 hours ago.

The box is loose, but there's still a waterline blocking it fromnn comming out. How do I get that waterline out of the way.

There shouldn't be a water line in the filter.

Customer replied 858 days and 7 hours ago.

Teh filter has a water line that travels over the filter, it's not connected.

Are you trying to remove it from the inside?
