The circulating fan in the freezer compartment is making noise

This answer was rated:

The circulating fan in the freezer compartment is making noise and remains on until door is open. The compressor continues to run and is cooling. It doesn't cycle off. Can you help?
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

It sounds like your cooling fan is just bad and needs to be replaced. The fan and compressor will remain on until the refrigerator section gets down to the correct temperature. The fan blows the air from the freezer into the refrigerator, so if it's making noise, chances are it's not blowing air as hard as it should to circulate it correctly into the refrigerator which will cause the unit to continue to run.
