I have an old Slattery stove. The springs on the oven door

I have an old Slattery stove. The springs on the oven door are broken. Can they be replaced?

I have had it for 38 years and it was well used when we moved in, so it must be around 40-50 years old. I do not have the model number (it must be on the back, and it would be a pain to slide it out). I'm thinking of just putting some sort of latch on it to hold the door shut

That would be your best bet cause there is no parts for this anywhere, not unless you go to an appliance junkyard somewhere. If you get a latch for it make sure that the metal is heat treated so it can withstand the heat. Okay?
