i will need a model number to know exactly what were working with. this should be found under the top or on the frame leg behind the drawer.
ok - let me take a look
I see: Model: CRP5300AXW, Series 10
ok give me one min
is it the top burners that wont light
but i also think that the oven wont turn on either (it doesn't go click-click-lick)
i believe that this unit has all pilots not spark ignitors is that correct?
i'm not sure
the pilots for the top are between each of the burners. there is one on each side in the middle. there is a tube that comes from each of the burners. the rtear one come to the front and the front one has a tube that goes to the rear. directly in the center is the piliot.
there is a small round ring where the pilot is. do you see it?
here is a pic of what you have, the pilot is directly in the center
yes - i see pipes running between the burner
with the pilots in the center
but there is nothing running through the center... with a ring
there is a third "pipe" along the left hand side... that is bronze color and rectangular shaped
let me rephrase.. i do see two spots where i believe you say the "pilots" rae
This may sound like a dumb question, but are we done/
I found something online: http://www.ehow.com/video_4426669_lighting-gas-stoves-pilot-lights.html
Am I safe to proceed with this method?
