Maytag Neptune TL timer jumps around and will only move on

Resolved Question:

Maytag Neptune TL timer jumps around and will only move on wash cycle intermittantly, have placed in diagnostic mode to try other cycles and they will not work. Lid will not unlock when paused or turned off. Second problem is extremely noisy when on spin cycle. I replaced the nylon bearings and support housing behind the drums but that did not help

do you have any idea regarding the loud spin cycle?
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
does the spin sound like a jet plane taking off?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yes, it does sound like jet taking off and maintains the noise throughout the cycle.
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
this is bad, what was the part # XXXXX replaced?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The AP4010173 AP4009556 lifter flange and lifter bearing, as the flange was very worn on the botton edge
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
well to be honest at this point I would either call a tech or replace the machine, these are terrible machines and would cost you more to repair than replace, the transmission is shot, thanks Bryan
