New Maytag Performance series frontload 4000 series error code F24 comes up hasnt washed 1 load of clothes yet. suggestions??

Hello, The F-24 error code indicates that the water temperature sensor reading is out of range (below 23 degrees F or above 217 degrees F). This is usually caused by a failed temperature sensor but on a new washer it could be a harness problem too. If the washer was just brought in and was very cold it could be the problem but if it still does this after it is warm you will need to call for service. If less than one year old it will be a free repair. Dave
