My washer is not level - the back is an inch higher then the front.

I'm assuming you've tried to raise the front two legs? Because they are adjustable

I have not because the back is 1 inch higher than the dryer. This has changed recently - priviously it was level front to back and with the dryer.

ok well the back legs adjust as well. You need to tip the machine forward and screw the feet in. There are nuts above the feet that you may need to loosen to turn the feet to adjust them. These nuts are locking nuts and once the feet are screwed into the correct position, you need to tighten the nuts up to the base of the washer so that the feet do not move over time.
