GE Arctica. The termostat is set at 41 degrees. the temperature

GE Arctica. The termostat is set at 41 degrees. the temperature registers at 31 degrees and a seperate thermometer in the bottom draw reads 22 degrees. Consequently everything in the bottom is frozen including the water resevoir. Also some fan noise that only lasts about a minute and gets worse when you press in on the back of the refrigerator directly behind the freezer/

This is a fairly common issue unfortunately and it means your damper assembly that stops the air from going from the freezer into the refrigerator has broken. There is a flap in the upper back left corner inside the refrigerator that the hinges freeze and then break. Order and replace the damper assembly and this will fix the problem. Below is a link to the damper assembly that you'll need to order to correct the issue.
