Do you feel warm air blowing out of the bottom front vent?
If there was alot of dirt or dust covering up the coils this will cause the problem that you are experiecing. You will need to get this all the way cleaned. They make a special brush for this you can get it at either lowes or home depot. This should fix your problem.
