I have a maytag neptune washer that the spin works some times.

I have a maytag neptune washer that the spin works some times. When it does not, i bump it and it works a few more times. Loose wire or something?

is the door lock light on when this gets to spin?

We have not noticed either way. That is something we can look for. Is this common that the light/ latch are connected with the spin cycle

yes i think the interlock switch isn't engaging on the door lock assembly so when you bump it kicks in,

the switch is probably bad, you can order this @ http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Interlock-Switch/454909 theres actually two in yours, heres the diagram,

not really because the board wont reset when you open the door, replacing the switches is what you should do. thanks Bryan

first you need to take the front panel # XXXXX on this diagram off,

remove screws #16 on both sides of the door the ones in the hinges and on th other side remove panel then take the screws out of the bleach dispenser on the top (4)screws, then remove the screws marked # XXXXX on this diagram

and lift the top , then you can get to the switch assembly . the blue link in the post above is where you can order the switches, thanks Bryan
