I have a GE Profile Gas Slide-In Range Model #JGS968SEK3SS.

Resolved Question:

I have a GE Profile Gas Slide-In Range Model #JGS968SEK3SS.

Everything works but the "Bake" feature on the Oven. (the burners and broiler work) When I select "Bake" "Convection Bake" or "Roast" set it for 350 and press Start, I hear a small fan come on, but oven doesn't heat. I have looked underneath and turned the red switch on the gas valve on and off, but no change.

I don't see the igniter glow and I don't smell any gas, I have tried turning the oven on and holding a flame to the gas burner but nothing lights and no gas.

.you will need to replace the oven igniter, its glowing but isn't drawing enough amps to open the safety valve,
