We have a Kenmore Elite C970-440934. When we turn the oven on, the fan makes a horrible "grinding" type sound. this continues until the fan stops (I guess when the pre-set temperature is reached). Is there anything we can do to stop or fix this?
Hi, thanks for using JustAnswer.com. You will most likely need to replace the noisy fan to rid yourself of the noise. If you can provide the model number I can give you model specific instruction. The model number will look like XXX.XXXXXXXX, please don't forget the point after the first three numbers or it won't post right.

That model number is XXXXX coming up, not even anything close. Is that right off the oven itself?
Yes. It's on the edge of the oven opening, just inside the door. It actually says C970-440934. The Electric range is a Kenmore Elite slide in model. The serial number is XXXXX
Okay, Frigidaire built range, but that model number is XXXXX me up. I can't get it to come up at all. Are there any other numbers on that tag?
Nothing else. Except Type: 3S5A
