the thermal cutoff has most likely blown in this. Part 2651this is located on the side of the heating element in the back, remove the back panel and its part # XXXXX on this diagram, this comes in a set and you can order it @, http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-279816-%3d%3di2651&PartID=2651 thanks Bryan

So we ordered this part and recieved it and it does NOT work. They sent us a thermostat with a 2 prong connection and the dryer appears to be set up for a four prong. Could it be something with the start button itself?? Or did we get the wrong part? Please help we are freaking out with out a dryer in the mountains!!!

I have located the thermostat and it does look like the one you pictured. Im not sure i guess then what the other part that they sent is. it looks like the electrical part located under where the thermostat is

ok, try this, unplug the dryer and tape the two wires together (take them off the thermostat) and see if it starts . if so replace it, don't run it like that its a safety, you can order this @ http://www.repairclinic.com/SSPartDetail.aspx?s=t-WED5840SW0-%3d%3di2986&PartID=2986 thanks Bryan
