I have a GE dishwasher (GSD6600G00WW) that will not rinse the dishes. No water being cycled. Can you help?

there are tow things that can cause this, 1 the fill valve is bad, Part 785330or 2 the float, Part 943405check the float and make sure it moves up and down freely and you hear a slight click, if you do replace the valve, you can order this @ thanks Bryan

How do you test the float value?

Also, what is the reference number for this case?

the float is on the left side in this diagram, remove the cover part # XXXXX and its under that, make sure it moves up and down freely. don't know the case # XXXXX
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Is the float part # XXXXX? If the float is not working correctly the valve will not operate. Is this correct?

thats correct, underneath is a switch (micro) and if that switch isn't actuating then no water will come in.

What is the part number for the float/micro switch?

they call this a flood switch in this model, this is it, not cheap. $51.00 @ make sure its not the float shaft gummed up and getting stuck before ordering this, thanks Bryan
