does the timer run down to off but the clothes are still wet or does it stop mid cycle?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
mid to beginning of cycle
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
ok but it doesn't stop in timed correct?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no it's been running in"timed " mode for 30 minutes...and clothes are drying
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
well this can only be one of two things, either the thermistor is bad, Part(NNN) NNN-NNNN width=or the control board, Part(NNN) NNN-NNNN width=since the thermistor is only $27.00 @ http://www.repairclinic.com/Appliance-Parts?s=t-GEW9868KQ0-%3d%3de I would try that first, the board is $170.00, theres no test for the thermistor, its located on the blower assembly # XXXXX on this diagram, the bottom panel under the door opens and the blower is there, thanks Bryan
