Hi, Unplug washer. push the timer knob in. Use a putty knife under the corners of control panel and main top to release clips. Flip control panel up.There is a hole on the back of the timer with a tab in it. pull the tab out to release the timer knob. Now pull the timer off the shaft.

is the tab supposed to seperate from the shaft?
it all seems to move together.

not releasing

applianceguy, Customer Service replied 6 years ago.

With the timer knob pushed in it should not move when you pull on the tab. If the knob is not pushed in they will move together.
