I have a frigidaire AC model# XXXXX This is the exact model # XXXXX the units tag. The serial #IK81247549. The replacement fan has 6 wires instead of 5 like the original motor. Where does the extra wire go? The factory 800# XXXXX insist this is the correct motor.

its a extra to hook up if you have a 3 speed fan switch and you do not / thanks

The AC I have is a 3 speed. high, medium, and low.

did all the wires match up up that you hooked up and what color wire do you have left over

I have a red wire that goes to the high speed setting. but the fan starts without being turned on. The black wire is the extra one. If I hook that up it pops the 3.1amp fuse.

black, red and blue are speeds and brown is cap and white is neutral and green is ground
