We have a GE side by side Model GSL25JFTE BS refrigerator/freezer. For the last 9 months or so we've been hearing a moaning sound when the compressor is running It started out as an occasional occurrence (we initially thought it was during the defrost cycle) but which has become a daily and sometimes more than daily experience. We assume it's during the compressor running time since the noise is noticeably louder in the freezer. Otherwise the fridge and freezer run fine. Got any ideas for us?
hi it sounds like it may be the fan in the freezer
