My GWL11 washer's lid won't lock and won't spin. Got any solutions I could try?
Optional Information: Make: GWL11 Model: Fisher and Paykel top loading washer Already Tried: unplugging for several minutes. Tilting washer up and spinning spinner. Went through another cycle. Unplugged again and Plugged back in and skip to spin. Seems to pump out some water, just the lid won't lock. Won't spin
The lid lock is most likely bad. The only way to tell is to actually replace it as it cannot be tested. The control tells the lid lock what to do, but that is much more expensive, so why start there anyway. Not an unusual problem.
Where do I get a lid lock and how do I replace it?
Contact FP for it. Lid comes up after removing two screws to reveal the assembly. Pretty self-explanatory after that point.
