the model # XXXXX XXXXX can you check this again, look in these places, Appliance Model Illustration if its a top load, is it a top load machine? does this stop at the drain cycle and not continue?

ok, well I know the machine but that model isn't comming up , thats ok though, when this goes to the spin cycle can you check the drain hose and see if the water is draining fast?

compleats cycle on the dial, does not drain at all, have checked hose, no blockage

ok you need to replace the lid switch. these are a problem in these machines, | WHIRLPOOL Lid Switch Assembly, part number: AP3100003you can order this @ and heres a great video on how to get the cabinet off for replacing this. this will take care of your issue, thanks Bryan
