i have a 6 year old ge side by side profile ref . the presets on the temp is set 37 deg on the ref side and 0 on the freezer. but the ref side will drop down in the high 20's and the freezer side will climb all the way to 12 deg . i did blow some lint from the back that didn't help. this started about 2years ago and got worst. whats wrong

this sounds like the damper is sticking open on this, thats the part that opens to let air from the freezer into the fresh food section to cool it, there is more than one thing that can cause this though, the board is the most common reason in these though, it could be the damper itself or the sensors, you can spend a lot of money trying to get this right though, I would call a tech in to fix this, these are complicated, thanks Bryan
