I have a thermador professional (bought in 2001) 36 sixburner

Customer Question

I have a thermador professional (bought in 2001) 36" sixburner range. The oven door was just removed by my cleaning people, but they can't get it back on. The left hinge seems to catch/lock OK, but the right side won't. What are we doing wrong? Thanks!

you need to force the door hinges open. Wear a pair of gloves and push down on the hinges to open them all the way. Once you have them opened all the way, there is a little locking tab you can slide over a tiny prong. Once you have both hinges locked out you can easily slide the door back into the oven receptacles.
