Whirlpool Stylemaster washer, Model LSR7233BW1, Stock# XXXXX Runs fine until it gets to spin cycle and then stops. Will not spin, even with lid-switch depressed. Spin cycle stops no matter which wash methd (Super, Delicate, etc) is chosen.

<p>That wasn't it. I replaced the lid switch, and it does the same thing: all cycles (it seems like, I haven't run it thru the entire cycle), but doesn't spin when it gets to SPIN. The motor runs like it means to. Is there a belt under there?</p><p> Actually, it appears not to SPIN or agitate at all.</p>

It was beginning to make noise before this happened like a bearing going bad under the tub (squealing). Now that noise is gone completely when it should be engaged. Still points to the clutch?
