Thats the problem the self defrost is not working.Do you have a ohms tester?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I have access to one.

Ok the most likely problem is the defrost thermastat. It is behind the inside back wall of the freezer. It is about the size of a quarter it should be on the right. It has two wires coming out of it.It will be at the top of the coil.Test it for continuity. It needs to be frozen to have continuity. If that passes the test check the element it wraps around the coil.If it passes you will need to replace the defrost control. It is in the fridge compartment with the controls.
