I have a Whirlpool Commercial Quality, Super Capacity Dryer

Resolved Question:

I have a Whirlpool Commercial Quality, Super Capacity Dryer and while drying a load tonight, it just stopped working in the middle of the load. Model is LER7646JQ0. If you turn the dial, you can hear clicking but that is it and the clicking stops as it normally does when you reach off. Can you advise what is wrong?

this is most likely a blown fuse. slide the unit out and remove the back cover. there are 2 fuses in this dryer. they are number 7 and number 9 in this diagram. check number 7 first. you can do this with a volt meter checking continuity or bu taking the wires off and sliding them together and try to start the dryer. this is the most common cause and number 7 is the most common to fail.
