my ice maker is not making ice, the arm is up and i think it

my ice maker is not making ice, the arm is up and i think it is getting water cause it is coming out on the outside of the door

the arm should be down to the side of the icemaker ,,, look at the icemaker and tell me where the ejector fingers that push the ice out of the icemaker are pointing please

replace the water valve on the back of the fridge ,, you can get it at a local appliance parts dealer near you with the model number / thanks

that would keep the ice maker from working and still let the water come thru the door

the water valve is a double valve and one side is for the door and the other side is for the icemaker and only one side has went out but you have to replace the complete water valve
