Whirlpool Dishwasher DU1145XTPB3 - not draining, START/RESUME

This answer was rated:

Whirlpool Dishwasher DU1145XTPB3 - not draining, START/RESUME LED is blinking. Appears to have completed the full cycle except did not drain after the final rinse cycle, since water is clear. Thanks, Lyndon
how many times does this blink? the amount of times it blinks tells us the problem, example,

Control is programmed to

stop the current cycle and

not allow any further

cycles if it suspects a

faulty heater (no

temperature increase

detected in heated

intervals). Control blinks

the Clean LED 7 times in

repetitive fashion and

disables the Start/Resume

key until cleared.

The Normal (Wash Cycle) LED says on constantly, the START / RESUME LED blinks constantly, approx 2 times a second and does this continuously (several hours now).

Update, the dishwasher will drain with pressing the CANCEL button. After starting another load, the NORMAL cycle LED stays on, the HEATED DRY blinks once, then the LOCK blinks once and there is an audiable Reset sound. It did this about 3 or 4 times. Then the wash cycle started and the HEATED DRY LED several times in different patterns, nothing consistent. LED on 1 second, on 1 second, blink 3 times, then some other pattern.

ok try this I'm sending you a link to the service manual, this has test procedures in it, it tells you how trouble shoot, it would take a week to write it all out.
