How do I know if it's cycling? Any noise? I keep hearing it sound like it's dropping ice, but nothing happens. Also, to confirm this is the problem, could this have come on gradually? Seems like it started making less and less ice, and some water maybe dribbled in the ice bucket and stuck the ice together.

do you know the temperature of the freezer? do you have a thermometer?

The freezer is fine. How do I know if it's getting water??

ok there are ways to test the valve but they are tough on this model .you need to take the white cover off the ice maker, and jump the module, do you think you can do that?
