We have a Whirlppol self cleaning oven. After the self-cleaning

Customer Question

We have a Whirlppol self cleaning oven. After the self-cleaning cycle, we cannot open the door. We have checked and flipped the circuit breaker, but it still won't open.

Any ideas?

set the oven to self clean and turn on, after you hear the latch lock down then cancel the self clean cycle and wait 20 minutes and then open the door / thanks

can you set the controls and do you get a error on the display?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Larry,

I am a Realtor trying to help a client that just moved into a new home. I told him exactly what you suggested and he said it didn't help at all. He then told me he was going to call a repairman or buy a new stove.

Thanks,

Randy

tell him to take a clothes hanger and make a hook at one end and slide it in from the left side and hook the latch, push in on the upper right side of the door and pull the latch to the left to unlock it
