when you press cancel ,can you hear the drain motor , even hear it HUMM?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Yes, I heard it hum
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 6 years ago.
ok if you take the drain hoes off the disposal or the drain under the sink ,can you blow back thru the hose ?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Yes I did that but got nothing...I drained the water from the bottom of the dishwasher already though. Not completely but down to the bottom

One last question when in drain /cancel does the HUM last approx 2 min .then shuts off or does it only HUM for approx 1 min.?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Be right back, going to time it
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Closed the dishwasher, hit the cancel button and it sounded like a shot of air came out of the sink. Humming started and lasted about 1-1/2 min or so...definitely more than 1 min but unless I was going slow didn't make it to 2 min

Do I need a tech to install this part or can I do it myself?
Expert:  Whrlp Master Tech replied 6 years ago.
it is better if the unit is un installed and laded on it`s back to change ,I would recommend a servicer do it unless you are a very handy person.
