do you have a model number so that I can better assist you? And does your cooktop click to light the burners on the top or does it have a pilot lights for the burners?

ok this unit doesn't have a pilot light for the oven, it has an electronic oven igniter. If you open the door and remove all the racks inside the oven, you can then r emove the floor inside the oven. This will allow you to access the igniter on the back of the bake burner. The igniter generally lasts between 6-8 years before it fails and won't draw enough power to open the oven gas safety valve.
