Customer Question

I have a Kenmore automatic pilotless ignition dual oven. Two weeks ago my power was out for three days during a snow storm - my oven hasn't worked since. Since it is pilotless, I assume I don't need to light the pilot. What do I need to do to get my oven working again? Thanks.

The oven burner ignitor is a glow bar type. The part number is XXXXX and the price is $32.36. If you need to replace it, you can purchase it at Their phone number is(NNN) NNN-NNNN

Before you purchase it, check to see whether or not it's glowing, when you turn the oven on. If it's showing an orange color, please post back to me.

Thanks John,

I looked and it is showing an orange color and then it just came on.

I swear it hasn't done this any of the other times I tried.

Thanks for your assistance.

Keep an eye on the ignitor. It's very fragile, and it may be cracked. If the problem shows up again, replace it. Thank you for choosing justanswer.
