I have a Kenmore 90 series 27" electric dryer. The motor is stalled. How do I get to the motor to replace it? It is behind the blower assembly. I removed the front of the blower assembly and I can't figure out how to get the blower fan blades off.
Optional Information: Make: KenmoreModel: 110.69902890 Already Tried: When you press the start button the motor buzzes like it is stalled. I removed the front bottom cover and tried to clean out the compartment. Can't really get to the motor to clean it out without removing the blower housing. I can't figure out how to do that. The belt looks ok and the drum and blower blades will rotate if you spin them, but it seems like it is not turning freely. I removed a lot of lint from around the motor but can't see to get all of it because I can't get around the blower housing.
Hi thanks for the question.
The blower unscrews from the motor shaft and sometimes they can be a real pain to remove you can try and tap the nut on the blower and add W D 40 to it to loosen it .
