refrigerator/freezer works fine for a while then the back of the freezer frost over and the machine stops cooling. what is wrong?

you have a bad defrost heater in this, G.E. has re disigned the heaters in these because they were failing, every one iof these refrigerators needs to change this, Defrost Heating Element - Click Image to Closereomeve the back panel in the freezer and totaly defrost the coils , this is located at the bottom of the coils , 2 screws and 2 wires, after you heve this defrosted put the panel back on and when the part arrives put it in and you will be all set, you can get this @ thanks Bryan
