My Hoover Windtunnel beater bar is not turning. I replaced

Customer Question

My Hoover Windtunnel beater bar is not turning. I replaced the belt, thinking it had stretched, but that is not the problem. New belt, bar still isn't turning. Then I noticed the "on-off" indicator for the beater bar seems to show "off" no matter which way I slide the switch. Appears it may be stuck in the beater bar "off" position? What do I do?

HiyaCustomer

It appears the switch may be faulty, or you may have a burned or loose wire somewhere.
Worse case would be a bad motor or bad motor brushes.
This is not a home handy person repair.
You may need to have a hands on tech diagnose this problem on location.
