it's a bad error, it means that the control board has detected an internal short. Whirlpool states to unplug the appliance for 60 seconds and plug it back in. If the error comes back you will need to replace the relay control board under the console.

that's fine. If it doesn't just so you know, I would call whirlpool and let them know what's going on. I know it's out of warranty but this F1 error (F=F1) is very very common and most of the time if you call and complain that the error keeps coming back, Whirlpool is helping with repair costs or repairing them for free since this is such a common error.

its again blinking i didnt understand re a worenty that you told me i do not have, as i know i did have its just a month or 2 old?

oh ok, if it's under a year old then it's definintely still under warranty. Call Whirlpool and have them replace your control board. It needs to be replaced unfortunately.
