I have a 2 yr old LG LFC25760 french door fridge. The freezer

Resolved Question:

I have a 2 yr old LG LFC25760 french door fridge. The freezer is not cold enough, it's running about 20F. A service tech said it has a "sealed system leak" and while the major parts are still under warranty, his cost estimate for labor was $700 (half what the unit cost new!). Is this bid out of line? Should I just buy a new fridge?

have you talked to L.G. about this? a usuall labor charge for this is around $300.00-$350.00 at best, XXXXX XXXXX call L.G a put up a fight about this, if they wont help tell them you are going to buy another brand and will never buy L.G. again, thanks Bryan
