Is the clicking coming from the silver panel on the back of the unit?

Can you tell if the compressor is warm? It is behind the back panel.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
it was warm that day but i unplug now for 10 days now
Expert:  MASTER-TECH replied 6 years ago.

It is most likely the control board(the one benind the silver panel. If the compressor tries to start it may be a locked compressor causing the clicking. When you replace the board you will have to cut out a wire for the new one. The instructions are in with the new board. It is #801 on the look up. Many local parts strores will also carry this part in stock and you will not have to wait for it.
