My frige wont dispance water or ice. It has power and water

Resolved Question:

My frige won't dispance water or ice. It has power and water pressure. It seems that the dispancer lever is inactive. Can I replace the switch myself and how do I go about it.

Can you tell me who makes the unit and if you can get me the model #, please?

Check inside the fresh food section for the model tag. If it is an older unit check the frame below the doors also.

This issue should still be covered be warranty. It sounds like there is an issue with the switch assembly(no click). If you try to repair it, it may void your warranty. Call(NNN) NNN-NNNNto get a servicer in your area. This will be the best way to correct the problem. When you call have the model, serial and the date it was bought, ready.
