have a dg410 gas dryer that we are tryin to light. Can we light it without the automatic ignition. We have been trying to use a lighter but dont know how to get the gas to the pilot.

Hi thanks for the question.

You cant light the gas with a lighter.The igniter has to light to open the flame sensor listed here.You can check the igniter with a volt ohm meter to see if its not broken.

You can join the flame sensor wires together to see if its ok.Cut the power before you join the wires.If the igniter comes on replace the flame sensor
