My regular cycle does not work right! sections of it works

This answer was rated:

My regular cycle does not work right! sections of it works but others do not. The other cycles seem to be working ok. What may be wrong?
what happens on your regular cycle that makes you think it's not working?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
The wash cylce works but the rinse and the spin cycle don't. To get it to work i have to pull the knob in and out a few times to get it to work. When i put it on the other cycles I don't have to touch it at all.
ok perfect, that just means that your timer is going bad and some of the contacts inside the timer aren't making a good connection. The timer is the part behind the knob that you turn to select your cycles. Here is a link to the part you will need to order and replace.
