This doesnt have a pilot lit it uses and ignitor. They stopped using pilot lights about 20 years ago. What is wrong with this range?

Just replaced gas ball valve it was leaking and now the stove won't light stove top lights fine

It sounds like you have a bad control board. The control board sends power down to the igniter. Once the igniter draws 3.2 amps it opens up the gas valve.

SAtove and broiler worked 15 minutes ago all I did was turn off the gass fix the leak and turn back on the gas Stove top works fine all 4 burners Tech said it had a pilot light last week

No all there is is a 90 deg fitting with an orrifice going into the brioler tube

Is their a start up procedure after having the gas off? Like I said I cooked Pizza in it two days ago and have been turning off the gas after I was done all that has been changed is the ball valve I did have the warming tray out is there some sort of safty switch in the drawer

there is no set up. Try to unplug the range and plug it back in.
