Kenmore Elite side by side doesn't make ice. No water or cubes in tray. Has a sensor light beam.

what position is the "rake" (the part that pushes out the ice from the mold that looks like a bunch of white fingers) facing when you look at the icemaker? Are the fingers pointing foward or backwards? Above the horizon or below the horizon?Is the red light flashing 2 times and then pausing over and over?
the rakes are forward, below the horizon. the red is flashing twice, then pausing, over and over
ok then this means you need to replace your icemaker itself. The icemaker should never stop at any position other than foward and above the horizon. They have redesigned this icemaker to make it a low torque icemaker because the style you have would try to advance too fast and would cause the plastic gear in the front of the icemaker head to break and stop advancing.
