My GE Dryer model DSXH47EG dryer beeps six time when plug in

My GE Dryer model DSXH47EG dryer beeps six time when plug in , and will only run to about 20 seconds before cutting off. It then starts beeping agin. Can you please advise what the problem is?

Sounds like you need to have you belt checked that it is tight enough.
The belt sensor may be stopping your dryer if the belt or the tension is not tight enough.

You need to have your vent line checked to see if the vent is cloged or kinked. It may even be clogged where it vents outside.

This is an electric dryer that runs on 220 volts so check that both of the house breaker switches for this dryer are in the on position.Each of these switches supplies 110 volts and together 220 volts to operate corectly.
