whirlpool duet front load washer stopped during rinse cycle or just before and beeped flashing an "F" and "06". What does that mean and how do I make it finish the cycle or reset?
Make: Whirlpool duet front load washerModel: GHW9300PW4 Already Tried: nothing waiting to find out what "F 06" means
Hello.
The F06 code is a failure in communication between the motor and the and command control board. All the wiring harnesses will need to be checked and it they are intact, a voltmeter and knowledge on how to diagnose the motor, motor control and the command control unit to see which one is causing the problem. Let me know if you have that knowledge and I will get you the testing information you will need.
Ok we will have to call someone out to look at it but to get this cycle finished since I have wet clothes what do I do? Unplug it and try to reset it to rinse and spin?
That is your best bet. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes before plugging it back in and try it. It is unlikely that it will work but it is worth a shot.
